Tailoring of plasmonic near-fields is central to the field of nanophotonics, including the design and fabrication of plasmonic sensors, detectors, nanomanipulators, and atomic devices. We are working in the field of plasmonics and atomic physics, both investigating near-field phenomena and searching for their applications.
